Who Art Thou, O Great Mountain?

Mark 11:23
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Who Art Thou, O Great Mountain?
By George Thurlow

Who art thou, O great mountain
 That would burden me?
 You're only but a pebble
To be tossed in the sea.

 Your height and size
 Doesn't intimidate me
For the One who indwells me
 Is greater than thee.

 I won't go around you
 Or climb to your peak
 Neither tunnel through you.
It would take weeks and weeks...

 But O great mountain
You won't stand in my way
 For you were already conquered
When I knelt down to pray.

 For I have confidence
 And unwavering faith,
 Not in my own self
Lest I fall on my face...

 But I have a Father
All my battles He does fight.
 With Him all is possible
 Through His strength and might.

 Even though, through human eyes
 You appear so awfully tall,
 With my spiritual vision
Why, you're nothing much at all.

From way up in the heavenlies
You look like a little bump
 And what appeared so threatening
Can now be tackled with a jump.

For it is not the mountains
That cause us grief and strife,
 It's only in the perspective
We choose to view this life.

It comes right down to personal choice
And where we want to be:
Down at the base of the mountain
 Or up in the heavenlies.

With God we are more than conquerors
And we will always come out on top.
If we keep our eyes on Jesus
 Victories will never stop.

Zechariah 4:6-7
Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
