In Quiet Confidence

In quiet confidence I will wait
For I trust in you my Lord
Though heaven seems so silent
I will stand upon your Word.
Like Elijah on Mount Carmel
I expect to see
Just a little fist of cloud
For I know that you heard me.
In quiet confidence I will wait
And look towards the hill
From whence my help is coming
Your promise be fulfilled.
Like Daniel in the lion's den
The Hebrew children in the flames
I know that you'll deliver
For you're the God that doesn't change.
