SUREFOOTED

AS I VIEWED A DEER THIS MORNING
NAVIGATING THE EMERALD FENS
THROUGH THE STREAMS AND SALT MARSH MIRE
SO EASILY SHE WENDS;
THE SPIRIT WHISPERED TO ME,
“SUREFOOTED IS HER STRIDE
FREE OF SLIPS AND STUMBLES
SEE HOW GRACEFULLY SHE GLIDES.”
AND THEN WITHIN THE INNER MAN
A THOUGHT WAS PLACED IN ME
SUREFOOTED ARE THE SPIRIT LED
WHO WALK STEADFAST WITH THEE.
6/9/20 Beautiful doe feeding this morning along the marsh. The Lord gives me a special treat every day!
Psalm 42:1
As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God.
Psalm 18:33
He makes me as surefooted as a deer, enabling me to stand on mountain heights.
